Today is a little solemn. Yesterday morning five teenagers from Sweet were killed when their car slid off the road into a pond. Rescue workers pulled them from the waters two hours later and were able to get one of them to breath, but they died later on in the hospital. [...] We had a fun Saturday. =) At 11 am, some youth came over and we started working on cleaning out the demolition debris in the basement. We filled up our trailer and the back of my truck with a ton of old sheetrock, panels, boards, wires and plain old trash. It [...] As you read this blog, please keep in mind that the posts are just my thoughts and emotions. Besides sharing our lives with you, this blog was started as an avenue to release random thoughts and emotions that float around inside. I’m a very vocal person whose emotions are worked out by talking…or [...] Something exciting happened at church Sunday – one of our kids, who is usually rowdy, decided to sit quietly and read the Bible during craft time! =D It is so cool to see these kids beginning to get a love for the Bible and wanting to read it. In fact, a [...] I had a wonderful three day weekend. =) Saturday morning was spent sleeping – like all good Saturday mornings. That afternoon, we were able to help a friend move into their new house. That was lots of fun. =) That evening was the big night – a date with the [...] The good news today is that I have a date tomorrow with the prettiest girl in the world. =D Yelp – It is looking to be a great weekend. A date AND I get Monday off work!!!! Life is good. =D
[@more@] This sucks – my left knee is going out… similar to what happened this summer while I was hiking. It hurts and is swelling up a bit – I think they call is “water on the knee”. However, half the team is dragging their feet. They have NO excitement or vision for the ministry. =/ [...] Anyone ever heard of this dude? If you haven’t, that’s ok.
